Introduction
Welcome to JobOrbit. By accessing or using our website, apps and services (together, the "Service") you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
The Service is operated by the JobOrbit team. If you are using it on behalf of a company, you confirm you have the authority to bind that company to these Terms.

- One person per account; one company per employer account.

Acceptable use
You agree not to:

Your content
You keep ownership of anything you post — CVs, profile details, applications, comments, reviews. By posting content, you grant JobOrbit a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and share it as needed to operate the Service (for example, to show your application to the employer you applied to).
You are responsible for what you post. We may remove content that breaches these Terms or applicable law, at our discretion.
Employer obligations
Employers using JobOrbit additionally agree to:
- Publish only genuine, currently open roles.
- Include an honest salary range, work mode and visa/sponsorship position.
- Not charge candidates any fee, deposit or "training cost" as part of hiring.
- Respond to applications within a reasonable time or state expected timelines.
- Comply with all applicable employment and equality laws in the hiring country.
- Handle candidate data in line with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law.
Third-party links and services
The Service may contain links to third-party websites and services, and may display advertising from third parties. We do not control those third parties and are not responsible for their content or practices. Review their terms and privacy policies before relying on them.
Fees & billing
Browsing jobs, applying to jobs and reading our editorial content is free for individual job seekers. Employers pay for job postings, featured placement and employer branding tools. Fees, taxes and refund terms are set out on the relevant product page or order form.
Intellectual property
The JobOrbit name, logo, editorial guides, design system and codebase are protected by copyright, trade mark and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, adapt or republish them without our written permission, except as expressly allowed by these Terms or applicable law.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. JobOrbit does not guarantee that any specific job is still open, that any employer will hire, or that information about salaries, visas or relocation is complete or current for every reader's circumstances. Always verify important details with the employer and appropriate professionals before making decisions.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, JobOrbit, its directors, employees and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill arising out of your use of the Service.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 100.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be lawfully limited or excluded — for example, liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless JobOrbit from any claim, liability or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your content, or your use of the Service.
Termination
You can close your account at any time from your account settings or by emailing us. We can suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, or where we are required to do so by law. Sections which by their nature should survive termination — such as intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability and governing law — will continue to apply.
Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the country in which JobOrbit is registered, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless local consumer law grants you the right to bring proceedings in your home country.
Before starting any formal proceedings, we ask that you contact us so we can try to resolve the issue directly.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes are announced at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the new Terms take effect constitutes acceptance.
