About JobOrbit
We think a good job should not depend on where you were born.
JobOrbit is a worldwide job platform built around one uncomfortable idea: hiring is still mostly local, even when the work is not. We are changing that by putting salary, visa and relocation detail in front of every candidate.

Our mission
Make global opportunity legible — for the people it is supposed to serve.
Job hunting is stressful enough without decoding vague titles, opaque pay bands and "we cannot sponsor" answers that only appear in the third interview. JobOrbit strips that theatre out. Before you apply, you know what the job pays, what work mode is truly on offer, and whether relocation is realistic.
We invest the same care into the editorial layer around every listing. Each posting ships with a JobOrbit Role Guide — around 1,700 words of context on the role, the market, the interview and the visa route — so you spend your time preparing, not guessing.
Employers who list with us commit to those standards in writing. That is why we reject roughly a third of the companies who apply to join.
Honest by default
Every listing shows salary bands, visa expectations and work mode up front. If an employer will not share it, we do not publish it.
Genuinely global
We cover 190+ countries with local context — not just US and UK jobs repackaged with a Remote tag.
Free for job seekers
Applying, searching, saving jobs and reading our guides is free. Employers pay to reach candidates; you never do.
Editorial first
Every job page is paired with a written guide covering pay context, interview prep and relocation — reviewed by real humans.
How we got here
A short history of JobOrbit
Four years, a lot of coffee, and a stubborn belief that hiring can be less painful for everyone involved.

2022
The idea
After watching friends miss out on great roles because visa and salary info was hidden until interview stage, we started sketching a job board that put those details first.
- 2
2023
First 500 employers
We onboarded our first cohort of employers across tech, healthcare, finance and creative — each one committing to salary transparency as a condition of listing.
- 3
2024
Editorial guides launch
We began pairing every listing with a long-form JobOrbit Role Guide: pay context, interview prep, week-in-the-life detail and career trajectory.

80,000+ live jobs
Today JobOrbit hosts opportunities from verified employers in 190+ countries, with dedicated country hubs, category guides and relocation resources.
How we work
Editorial standards, in plain language
You should be able to trust what you read. Here is exactly how we produce and review the content on this site.
Real writers, real reviewers
Every guide is written by a career-focused writer and reviewed by a second person before it publishes. No auto-generated pages ship without a human read-through.
Sourced, not scraped
Salary ranges are drawn from employer submissions and public benchmarks. Visa notes are cross-checked against government sources at the time of writing.
Corrections welcome
If a listing is inaccurate or outdated, one email fixes it. We publish an update note and re-review the employer where needed.
No pay-to-rank
Employers cannot pay to appear higher in search results. Featured slots are labelled clearly and priced separately from placement.
Advertising, disclosed
Where a page contains sponsored content or affiliate links, we mark it. Our editorial team has no visibility into which advertisers are running that week.
Written for humans
We try to sound like a well-informed friend, not a corporate blog. If a guide reads as filler, it does not ship.
